Welcome to a regular feature at The Uncanny Broadcasting Brain Blog called Featured on Fridays.  Every Friday I will introduce you to one or more of the blogs and bloggers that fill my newsreader.  These are blogs that I genuinely enjoy and read regularly.  In this fourth installment I’m featuring two bloggers!  These two ladies are professional writers, each with her own interesting blog:

The Alien Next Door is a blog written by Canadian SF author Nina Munteanu.  Nina is well known in Canadian science fiction circles and has a new book, Darwin’s Paradox, coming out on Nov. 15.  She writes about the SF genre, pop culture, movies, writing, creativity, you name it!  She has a wonderful way of blending images with her posts, which always contain top notch writing.  She’s a friendly lady with lots to say, so please check out her blog.

Word Strumpet is written by Charlotte Rains Dixon, a US based writer.  Much of her blog is devoted to the business and work of writing (you know, putting words into a word processor or on paper).  She has also started an E-Book about the business of writing for pay in this on-line world which she is publishing in installments within her blog.  This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and learn some valuable tips.  Like Nina Munteanu, Charlotte’s a great lady and her blog is definitely worth a read.  And I hear that she’s working on another novel…

If you’d like to be reviewed in Featured on Fridays, don’t hesitate to drop me an E-Mail (see About Me page) or leave me a comment.
