When I originally read this article, I didn’t agree with the premise. I think it has an excellent point about preventing athletes from using harmful substances. However, I’m pondering the concept of talent and skill through genetics vs. hard work and artificial stimulation. Should somebody be the “best” at a sport just because they won a genetic lottery, if that was the only factor for consideration?
